*This guide is specifically for the Inverted Spire during the week of November 7-14 as enemies are different from the strike version and the other version of the Inverted Spire. The basic method to successfully complete this nightfall remains the same so, regardless of the changes, this guide will be a good blueprint for all.*
Momentum – While not moving, Health and Shields regeneration are disabled.
Timewarp: Rings – Enter through rings to extend the mission timer. Each ring gives +30 seconds.
Time: 12 mins on Normal Mode; 8 mins on Prestige Mode
Enemies: Cabal (Legionary and Phalanx) ; Vex (Goblin, Quantum Minotaur)
As soon as the screen loads, hop on your sparrow and head to the point on the map. Ride along the right side of the path to avoid dying to a Cabal spawn drop. Defeat the enemies here to gain access to a terminal players must hack. After the hack, several platforms will appear and continue on the path and take the ring to get the next area. Take the tunnel ahead of you bypassing the enemies and take another ring to be sent to the next area. Run along the only path to get to the next part of this nightfall.
Enemies: Cabal (Psion and Blood Guard Centurion) ; Vex (Goblin, Quantum Minotaur)
Once you reach the end of the path, kill the 3 Psions from afar then proceed to wipe out the rest of the mobs below. Send one player ahead to trigger the spawn of several more Vexes. (Can not bypass this part so avoid dying and play smart.) Clearing out this area allows players to continue moving forward. Remember there is a timer ticking down so move fast but safely.
Ring Strategy: Save until all enemies are disposed of then have 1 person in middle, top right, and 1 person to activate the ring. The activator will drop down into the rings while middle and top right player gets the ones near them.
Enemies: Cabal (Psion, Incendior, Legionary, Gladiator)
Run until you reach the edge and jump to the platform below. Avoid being shot and keep descending until you reach a round area. Call your sparrow and ride it until you reach several Cabal enemies near a building.
Recommended Element: Arc
Enemies: Cabal (Honored Psion, Legionary, and Phalanx)
In this part players must defeat 2 Cabal drill officers to be able to proceed. The both officers are located in a building surrounded lesser Cabal near them. One officer is found in the left building while the other is in the right building. It’s best to use an ultimate for each officer while getting support to quickly take them down. After both officers are defeated, take the warp-pad to proceed to the next part.
Ring Strategy: Save until all enemies are disposed of then have 1 person in middle, top right, and 1 person to activate the ring. The activator will take the rings on the left side while everyone else take the rings near them.
Enemies: Cabal (Legionary, Gladiator and Phalanx)
Quickly bypass these enemies blocking your way. A rocket launcher with cluster bombs can clear them out with ease or have 2 players throw grenades. For this part, players may decide to have only one member go down and activate a switch and have the remaining 2 players hanging back. Once the transit system reaches 100% head through the warp. It is recommended to round in a circle on the outside of the area until the warp pad is ready.

Enemies: Cabal (Psion, Incendior, and Legionary)
Bypass the enemies here by getting on your sparrow and zipping through them. Land on the platforms below and once players have crossed the gap, call out the sparrow again. Ride past the enemies and avoid the drilling arms. If players stay on the mid path(the one everyone starts on) its easy to get to the end (if you don’t get stuck in a crevice). At the end of the dirt path, players will reach a vex influenced tunnel which the boss will be waiting at the end. Run or use a sparrow to the end and jump below. (Don’t suicide)
Weak Points: Head, then torso opening.
Stage 1: 3 Harpies will spawn in with arc shields so use your arc weapons to quickly take care of them. When the boss spawn in toss grenades at him and use your power weapons to quickly knock off a third of his life. If done successfully, the boss will remove the floor and players will fall to the lower level. If not, the boss will teleport around a few times and summons several harpies. Have 2 players take down harpies while the last one focuses the boss unless a player has a mob clearing ultimate ability which then they will focus the harpies and the last 2 tackle the boss.
Stage 2: For this stage, there will be several raised platforms with a long ledge behind it. Stand on the narrow ledge and be ready to shoot the boss. If you take on too much damage simply duck and wait for the boss to change aggro to another player and pop back up to continue shooting. This stage is the easiest but don’t take too long as he will spawn several lesser enemies to annoy you.
Stage 3: This stage is the most difficult so play as a team and support one another. There will be 6 goblins, take them out quickly and take cover whilst waiting for the boss to spawn in. Make sure to shoot at his head to do as much damage as possible. Once the boss has travel half around the map, he will start calling in reinforcements. Have a person to clear them out while the others focus on the boss. Once you shoot off his head, the new weak point will be the center stomach. The boss will be more aggressive and will call upon more reinforcements to overwhelm you. Focus the exploding enemies first, then the shielded harpies then back to the boss. Use any ultimates to provide relief for teammates and without long the boss will fall. Most likely the team will encounter several deaths on this part but by systemically clearing enemies and and focusing on the boss success is in your grasp. Remain focus and support one another until the very end.
