After many announcements and rumors, the Swedish team Alliance finally announced their Dota 2 squad for the remainder of the season, and also the last squad that Loda will play with, until his retirement at the end of the season.
By position, the changes are:
Carry, Jonathan “Loda” Berg
Mid, Michael “miCKe” Vu
Offlane, Samuel “Boxi” Svahn
Support, Aydin ” INsania Sarkohi
Support, Tommy “Taiga” Lee
For the first time in awhile, Alliance doesn’t have a full 5-man Swedish team. The exception is Taiga, who hails from Norway, so communication isn’t expected to be a problem.
During a recent interview, Loda said he wanted to spend some time with his new squad before announcing it, because he wanted to make sure this team could be a legacy that he can continue to build on even after his retirement.
This is his last season, and he chose his last season to be with a roster of youngsters with a lot of potential. miCKe has already proven to be a beast in the mid lane, and that the only thing he lacks is experience. That being said, his skill alone is a big threat to the other teams.
We wish the best of luck to Loda with his new team, and we hope to see them on some LANs as soon as possible !
LONG LIVE ALLIANCE !
